| Scholarship Essay Contest Grade 12 |

Announcing The Firefighter Lloyd Phillips Scholarship Award Program For High School Seniors, graduating from the 12th grade, given in the memory of local Black Firefighters. Five, $500.00 awards will be given to students who cover the topic of: How can I help to make a safe and healthy community? Essays must be single-space, typewritten, no more than three pages long. Students must be attending a 2-4 year college in the fall of 2008. Students must submit Essay, two letters of recommendation from their teachers, a copy of their grades and college acceptance letter. Only students that attend Boston schools are eligible to apply. Entries must be postmarked by May 16, 2008 |
